Adult Transitions | Services provided at Robert Morgan Educational Center & Technical College, Lindsey Hopkins Technical College, and Miami Lakes Educational Center & Technical College. Students enrolled in the adult vocational education programs obtain the support they need to graduate, obtain necessary licensure to practice in their field of study, and successfully transition into employment. One-on-one tutoring contingent to program enrolment. | |
Interpreting Services | Interpreting Services Department connects your business with the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community across Miami-Dade through certified and qualified interpreters. | |
VR Employment Services | Employment services to individuals with disabilities referred by VR for employment skills training, resume building, job search and competitive employment options. | |
VR Pre ETS - Career Camps | Pre-Employment Career Camps are offered to youth with disabilities who are referred by VR to learn more about careers, post-secondary options and explore financial aid options prior to transitioning from high school. | |
FAAST | Assistive technology available from our loan closet; wheelchair, walkers, commodes, canes, etc., the availability of some items may vary. | |
FTRI | FTRI offers a variety of amplified telephones to meet the need of persons with mild, moderate, or severe hearing loss. | |
WIPA | Provide SSI & SSDI beneficiaries with disabilities panning and incentives counseling to make informed choices about employment. | |
Brain & Spinal Cord Injury Program (BSCIP) | Provide service assessments, linkage to services and community resources, apply eligible for Fed, State and County benefits and case management. |
